Alejandro Soto

Alejandro O. Soto is a founding partner at Fridman Fels & Soto, PLLC, where he leads the firm’s practice in high-stakes white-collar defense, securities litigation, and complex regulatory enforcement. A veteran of both the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Mr. Soto provides clients with a dual-perspective, insider’s approach to navigating existential legal crises. He represents individuals, executives, and corporations in sensitive government investigations and parallel civil-criminal proceedings involving the DOJ, SEC, CFTC, FINRA, and OFAC.

Mr. Soto’s practice is built on a foundation of decades of federal service. Before entering private practice, he served for over ten years as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in the Southern District of Florida, where he prosecuted a broad spectrum of complex criminal cases. He later transitioned to the SEC’s Enforcement Division as a Senior Trial Attorney, where he led investigations and litigation targeting public companies, investment advisers, and senior executives.
