Alejandra Corrales is a partner at Fiorio, Cardozo & Alvarado in Asunción, with a practice focused on sovereign finance, capital markets, strategic infrastructure and high-value cross-border corporate matters.
She has advised on multiple landmark international sovereign bond issuances by the Republic of Paraguay, working alongside leading global financial institutions and top-tier international counsel in Rule 144A / Reg S offerings. Her experience includes some of the country’s most significant recent financings and internationally visible transactions.
Alejandra also advises on complex infrastructure and PPP mandates, including flagship transport and strategic development projects, where she combines legal judgment with commercial and financing insight. She regularly advises lenders, sponsors, corporates and public-sector stakeholders on strategically important matters.
She holds an LL.M. from Stanford Law School and previously worked as a Foreign Associate at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in Miami, bringing together elite international training and deep local market experience.
