Adam counsels clients ranging from the nation’s largest and most dynamic communications providers and industry trade associations to startups entering the communications marketplace. He provides strategic, legal, and policy advice on a broad array of communications issues before the Federal Communications Commission and other government agencies — with a particular focus on spectrum and broadband, public safety, and resiliency issues that affect the wireless industry. Adam has extensive experience in helping companies gain government approval for major communications-related transactions. He is also a member of the Firm’s Management Committee.
Prior to joining WBK, Adam served in several senior positions at the FCC, including Senior Legal Advisor to Commissioner Gloria Tristani, Special Counsel to the General Counsel, and Senior Legal Advisor in the International Bureau.
Adam is regularly ranked in Chambers and Partners USA (2019 – 2022) and in the US News-Best Lawyers “Best Lawyers in America” list for Communications Law (2018-2022) and has been named a Leading Lawyer in the Legal 500 USA rankings.
Adam is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
Adam currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Federal Communications Bar Association. He also served on the Board of Directors for Miriam’s Kitchen, a non-profit organization committed to ending chronic homelessness in Washington, DC, on the Board of Trustees of the FCBA Foundation, and as a Co-Chair of the FCBA’s Wireless Telecommunications Practice Committee.
