Adam is a very experienced senior junior commercial barrister, with extensive expertise in quantum, banking, energy, fraud, aviation, professional negligence and insurance disputes especially. He splits his time between the English courts and in arbitration (typically LCIA), and is an expert in contract damages, being the sole author of leading practitioner text - The Law of Contract Damages (now in its 2nd edition). Current and recent key non-confidential disputes include the Phones 4U competition dispute, the Libyan Investment Authority fraud claims, the Lehman waterfall litigation, the Etihad v Air Berlin jurisdiction dispute, the RBS Rights Issue prospectus claim, VW Diesel Scandal group action, Holyoake v Candy brothers, and Bank of Moscow v Kekhman. Adam is equally comfortable as senior junior and as sole advocate, often appearing against silks, and has been named Chambers & Partner junior of the year twice (Commercial 2017, Banking 2015).
