Adam Brenneman’s innovative work on complex cross-border transactions includes some of the region’s largest capital markets, special situations financing and restructuring transactions. He regularly works for issuers, underwriters and capital providers in transactions ranging from initial public offerings (IPOs), bond issuances, liability management transactions, loans, special situations and distressed investing and distressed exchange offers.
Mr. Brenneman joined Milbank in 2025 as a partner in the firm’s Corporate Finance and Securities Group.
His work has been lauded by Chambers Global, Chambers Latin America, Latinvex, The Legal 500 Latin America, The Legal 500 US, IFLR1000 and others, and Turnarounds & Workouts spotlighted him as an “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer.”
He held a clerkship for Judge Juan Torruella in the US Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit.
Mr. Brenneman is a member of the New York Bar.
He is a founding editor of the Emerging Markets Restructuring Journal.
Mr. Brenneman is also a member of the SDSN Global Commission for Urban SDG Finance and served as faculty in a “Financial Institutions, Markets, and Transactions” training series.
