Abigail Whelan

Abigail has experience with all areas of Family Law, including Divorce and Financial Remedy proceedings, Relationship Agreements, and Private Law Children matters, as well as Cohabitation disputes and Contentious Probate.

Abigail is sensitive to the issues that clients are faced with, providing a calm and approachable service at what will undoubtedly be a challenging time. A member of Resolution, Abigail is passionate about resolving disputes constructively and proportionately, whilst ensuring that the best interests of any children are paramount.

With a background in Civil Litigation, Abigail has a particular interest in Cohabitation cases and complex Financial Remedy proceedings where third-party (wider family or business) interests may arise, and in 2023, Abigail successfully achieved Resolution Specialist Accreditation in relation to both complex high income financial remedies and cohabitation and TOLATA disputes.
