Wiggin is a law firm which specialises in media, technology and IP. Wiggin helps clients realise the value of their ideas in a digital age.
Our Brussels office brings together a unique mix of lawyers qualified to practice EU and Belgian law with in-depth experience in providing advice across a broad range of sectors including media, technology, consumer goods and digital entertainment.
With our in-depth experience in IP and unrivalled expertise in EU law – specifically copyright, audiovisual media and digital services regulation, competition and trade – we are uniquely placed to provide tailored, incisive and business-focused advice on the most complex EU matters.
• EU Law Practice – Our Brussels office lobbies EU decision makers on behalf of clients — on everything from EU copyright, audio visual regulation, data protection and competition policy, to trade and e-commerce, in addition to providing expert legal support.
• IP – The Wiggin Brussels office is primarily focused on IP, working seamlessly with our colleagues in the UK in relation to global brand management and multi-jurisdictional enforcement matters. We provide both EU, Benelux & Belgium advice to many of our clients and our teams work hand in hand to offer a fully integrated service.
• EU Trade Marks & Community Designs – Our lawyers are renowned for advising on all aspects of EU trade marks and designs and are experts in representing brand owners in disputes before the EUIPO and the EU Courts.
• Belgian IP Practice – We are recognised as a premier IP practice in Belgian law across all rights, including contentious and non-contentious matters relating to copyright, trade marks, patents and design rights as well as trade secret matters.
The firm has offices in Brussels, Cheltenham, Edinburgh and London.
