The firm has a substantial corporate and commercial practice advising clients on the full range of business matters, including; mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, stock exchange transactions, corporate governance, group restructurings, raising finance, exit strategies, shareholders’ agreements and general contractual matters. Employment & Health & Safety:
The employment, pensions and immigration team advises on all aspects of employment law including; preparation and review of employment contracts, handbooks and policy statements; equality legislation, discrimination and sexual harassment and related policy statements; senior executive contract negotiation and severance; representing clients in litigation concerning termination of employment before both the Workplace Relations Commission and the High Court. It is the department’s practice to keep clients updated in respect of significant developments in this important area, whether that is with regard to new legislation or recent case law.

Whitney Moore also advises on prospecting licences, mining licences, joint ventures, structured mine finance, drilling contracts, and joint operating agreements. The firm has also advised on windfarm projects in Ireland and Northern Europe which involved advice on operation and maintenance agreements, partnership agreements and government contracts.
