The firm represented the UK Government in the UK-India free trade deal, reinforcing its leadership in international trade law. Exemplifying the firm’s leading position in the financial services sector, saw TLT advise Penrith Building Society on a forward-flow funding arrangement with Imagine Mortgages Limited. In the future energy sector, TLT advised on 40 renewable energy projects, notably Thrive Renewables’ acquisition of the 57MW Whitelaw Brae windfarm, earning a top ten global ranking in clean energy M&A. The firm also showcased its strength in litigation by settling a phone hacking claim against MGN Limited and representing the Home Office in a CMA appeal involving Motorola Solutions.
