The Abeng Law Firm furnished the final Legal opinion for the Nachtigal Hydro Electricity Power project as required by the consortium of over 15 lenders which included amongst others the International Finance Corporation and the European Investment Bank.

Its team provided the lead local counsels for ACTIS in the Acquisition bid for AES Sonel (the national electricity company)l that occurred in 2013.

International Work

The Abeng Law Firm prides itself as an international law firm given its varied partnerships with foreign law firms and its membership in several international associations.

Since 2013, it independently but seamlessly works with its partners of the Miranda Law Firm (Portugal) on various transactions and depending on the exigencies of same.
