■Successfully defended Amni International Petroleum Development Company Limited in a Multi-billion Naira suit which arose as a result of a mystery spill in Emereoke Kingdom, Eastern Obolo Local Government Area of Akwa-Ibom State. The Court found in favour of Amni and dismissed the claims of the Plaintiffs
■Successfully defended ChampionX Oilfield Solutions Nigeria Limited (a Nigerian subsidiary of Ecolab) at the National Industrial Court, Nigeria. The suit bordered on an alleged wrongful termination of employment and the claim was for N55million. The Appellant has filed an appeal against the judgment at the Court of Appeal and S&A has been briefed to undertake Nalco’s defence thereof
■Successfully defended Chevron Nigeria Limited [CNL] in 2 (two) suits bordering on alleged damages arising from oil prospecting, exploration and exploitation activities in Imo State of Nigeria. Following the firm’s representation the claims of N1 billion respectively against CNL was dismissed. The Appellants have filed appeals against both judgments at the Court of Appeal and S&A has been briefed to undertake Chevron’s defence thereof
■Successfully prosecuted on behalf of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. [AEDC], a suit challenging the legality of the demand for payment of Trade Permit and Liquor Licence. The Court found in favour of AEDC and accordingly set aside the Demand Notices served on AEDC for payment of Trade Permit and Liquor Licence
■Successfully defended AEDC, in a law suit which arose as a result of an allegation of wrongful termination of employment by a former employee of the company. Upon trial of the suit, the Court dismissed the claims of the Claimant in its entirety
■Successfully defended Nigeria LNG Limited at the Federal High Court in two judgment enforcement suits with claims against NLNG in the sum of N7.7 billion and N10.9billion respectively
■Successfully recovered the sum of $84,410.66 (Eighty-Four Thousand, Four Hundred and Ten US Dollars, Sixty-Six Cents) on behalf of a client being outstanding debt owed it by a leading oil services company on a contract for the design, supply, fabrication, delivery and commissioning of a Let Down Station valued at the sum of $2,256,969.49 (Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty-Six Thousand, Nine Hundred and Sixty Nine US Dollars, Forty-Nine Cents)

■Conducted extensive due diligence, transactional support and drafting of transactional documents for a real estate conglomerate in respect of the financing, acquisition, construction, leasing and sale of real estate assets with an aggregate value of NGN15 billion
■Conducted extensive due diligence, transactional lead and drafting of transactional documents for the strategic partnership in the development of Agbowo Shopping Complex, a 5.744 acres land with buildings and other improvements thereon, situated at Agbowo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, currently owned by Oyo State Government through the Oyo State Housing Corporation, into an international standard mall and multi-storey student housing complex, valued at over NGN9 billion
■Conducted extensive due diligence, transactional lead and drafting of transactional documents for the purchase of some real estate assets at Omueke-Igwuruta in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, valued at over NGN220 million in favour of Tractville Nigeria Limited
■Acted as sole legal advisors to the Client in the acquisition of Second Sons Integrated Limited and subsequent restructuring of Second Sons Integrated Limited and review of Sales and Purchase Agreement and Escrow Agreement worth USD4,160,000.00
■The firm acted for (and continue to act) as retained Company Secretary and Counsel to ChampionX Oilfield Solutions Nigeria Limited (a Nigerian subsidiary of Ecolab), by providing Company Secretarial, Regulatory Compliance, Transactional and Operational advisory services to the Company
■Acted as sole legal advisors to a client engaged as a contractor by a State Government in the reconstruction of 105.6KM of a major road in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria in a deal worth in excess of NGN21 billion
■Acted as sole legal advisors to a client engaged in the construction of a port terminal facility in a port expansion project in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria, in a deal worth about NGN4.6 billion
■The firm acted as transaction advisors to a Nigerian subsidiary of Ecolab for the acquisition of 51% (fifty-one percent) of its shareholding by a Nigerian entity in a deal worth US$1 million
■Acting as Sole Legal Advisors to a multinational consortium engaged as Transaction Advisors for a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Transport to construct and operate critical infrastructures worth circa US$10million to be utilized by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency
■Acting as Sole Legal Advisors in the debt structuring of a facility procured to facilitate the acquisition of an Asset worth NGN2.2 billion and another syndicated facility procured to develop the Asset to a high scale commercial real estate at the cost of NGN4.5 billion
■Acting as Nigerian Counsel to a Middle-Eastern Information Technology company in the negotiation and implemen tation of Mobile Technology Solutions to MTN Nigeria in a deal worth more than US$60 million
■Acting as sole legal adviser and representatives; providing transactional support services in the negotiation of complex technology transfer agreements cumulatively in the sum of NGN72,833,644,326.63 vis-à-vis the possibilities of benefiting from extant incentives like repatriation of profits vide the domestication of these technology transfer agreements
■Acting as Sole Legal Advisors to a management consultant appointed as business service provider by the Central Bank of Nigeria providing business support services to participants of the CBN’s South-East Entrepreneurship Development Centre graduate loan scheme (the SEEDC Graduate Loan Scheme)
■Currently acting as the Nigerian transaction advisors to French automobile giant, Automobiles Peugeot, in a JVA worth NGN3.5 billion involving Automobiles Peugeot and the biggest conglomerate in Africa. The JVA will involve the development and operation of Greenfield production facilities in Nigeria for the assembly of Peugeot vehicles and for the commercialisation of locally produced and/or imported Peugeot vehicles through the development of a distribution network for same within Nigeria
