The law firm was incorporated in the city of La Paz, Bolivia on 25 May 2012, its founding partner is the prestigious jurist Walker San Miguel Rodríguez, who to date has 34 years of professional practice.

In a few years, the firm opened offices in Sucre (2012), seat of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Constitutional Court; in the city of Santa Cruz (2013), capital of the Bolivian east with enormous economic potential; and in the city of Tarija (2016), where the country's hydrocarbon epicentre is located. It currently has a team of 13 lawyers.

The firm provides professional legal and juridical services, including sponsorship and legal representation for companies investing or developing projects in Bolivia.

San Miguel Abogados Soc Civ offers legal consultancy services in the areas of investment, public procurement, national and international arbitration, among others.
