Rö acted successfully for Volkswagen AG in a case where the Warsaw Court stated the lack of jurisdiction for hearing of the collective claim of the owners of the vehicles with EA189 Diesel engines. Rö also acted successfully as the plaintiffs’ co-counsel in the Merhav Ampal v. Egypt investment treaty arbitration.

Banking Litigation

The Rö banking litigation practice recent highlights include advisinga leading bankon numerous disputes relating to outsourcing, PSD2, AML, cybercrimes and phishing. Recent highlights include the representation of the Polish bank with 462 branches throughout Poland in disputes with a group of its ex-partners operating the bank’s branches, who made compensation claims against the bank. Another highlight is the representation of the Bank in the number of phishing disputes brought against the Bank by the clients.

Construction litigation
