Real is a boutique law firm specialized in all real estate related matters, especially real estate M&A. Our experienced team is one of the largest real estate M&A teams in Sweden and the team provides strong understanding of both the legal and commercial aspects of our clients’ needs. Real constantly advises on the most complex real estate transactions in the Nordics, both domestic and cross border transactions, as well as acts in large development projects, joint ventures, complex lease agreements and development agreements.

Corporate & Investments:

Our corporate and investment group focuses on private M&A, investments, corporate governance and ownership issues. We assist clients with transactions and joint ventures (shareholders’ agreements) as well as pure corporate matters such as mergers, liquidations and issues of securities. Our clients are active in a wide range of industries and include Swedish and international investors, investments funds, family offices, venture capital investors and entrepreneur-driven companies.

Energy & Infrastructure:

Real represents Swedish and international real estate companies, investment funds, industrial companies, energy companies, municipalities and municipally owned companies within the energy sector. Our advice within the energy sector includes land access, project agreement, construction agreement, energy-related infrastructure, regulatory issues and dispute resolution.

• Real advised NREP Altura with the acquisition of the largest ever portfolio of modern social infrastructure buildings to a value of nearly SEK 5 billion. The transaction also constitutes the largest social infrastructure transaction during 2024.
• Real contributed with legal assistance to the European Parliament regarding the project "House of Europe" in Stockholm.
• Acted on behalf of NREP Altura in their purchase of social infrastructure from Besqab to a value of approx. SEK 770 million.
• Real advised the investment fund South Bay in its acquisition of a newly built logistics property measuring 44,000 square meters in Malmö.
• Real advised Logicenters with the acquisition of five logistics properties for over 2 billion SEK.
• Acted on behalf of Olav Thon Property in connection with their acquisition of hotel Terminus in the centre of Stockholm.
• Real advised Nrep on the acquisition of Clarion Hotel Stockholm on Södermalm.
• Advised Nordisk Renting with the acquisition of a property portfolio in central Sweden, value circa SEK 1.2 billion.
• Acted on behalf of Barings Real Estate in the acquisition of 264 residentials in Greater Stockholm.
• Advised Invela Fastigheter in the acquisition of 17 properties in the greater Stockholm area, circa SEK 1 billion.
• Real advised Sunna Group in connection with establishing one of Sweden’s largest solar panel parks.
