Omer Ali Law Firm was set up by its founder Dr Omer Ali Abdelrahman in the year 2005 in Khartoum, with the aim of providing high quality legal service to the top segment of the business community in Sudan and assisting local and foreign companies to establish operations in Sudan whether independently or in association with local partners. Using the facilities of a well-equipped law office the founder’s intention was to put the experience and knowledge gained over more than 40 years of legal practice at the disposal of the client, based on a mixture of knowledge of Sudanese laws and international exposure.

The Firm is specialized in corporate and commercial law, with practical experience which covers areas such as company law, law of contract, insurance law, mergers and acquisitions, competition law, banking law, law of finance, intellectual property, joint ventures, carriage contracts, energy law, mining law, telecommunications, international trade and arbitration.
