Our Private client department provides advisory services to private clients and organisations in all areas of private law.Nyborg & Rørdam has some of Denmark’s greatest capacities within the field of family law, inheritance law and tax law. Notably two of the partners of the private client department are members of the prestigious International Academy of Family Lawyers. The Academy only has three members in Denmark.

Our Private Law department has extensive experience in handling international family and private matters. Our family law attorneys provide counselling, representation and assistance in international cases within the field of family and inheritance law. Our attorneys are also some of the country’s most competent in this particular speciality and two of the partners of the private client department are members of the prestigious International Academy of Family Lawyers. Anne Heide-Jørgensen is an attorney and partner at Nyborg & Rørdam with nearly 20 years of experience in family and inheritance law. Anne advises on complex international cases involving divorce, division of property, child custody, estate administration and succession planning. Anne recently became a member of the International Academy of Family lawyers.

Anne has many years of experience with drafting wills and marriage contracts for high net worth individuals – also with international elements.

Anne is not only characterized by her strong legal foundation, but just as much by her deep human understanding. From the first client meeting until the case is finalized, Anne takes care of both the person and the case, where the goal is to find the most optimal solution for the client’s future life from a financial and a personal perspective - regardless whether the case is succession planning or divorce.

Anne goes regularly to court and has conducted many landmark cases before the High Court.

Anne is also a trained mediator.

Henrik Johann Fürstenberg is an attorney and partner at Nyborg & Rørdam and specializes in financial matters within all areas of private law.

Henrik is a trusted advisor in wealth and inheritance planning, divorce and estate administration, often handling complex assets. He has experience in advising of Danes’ private law matters in relation to most Europeans countries, USA, China and Japan.

The key words in Henrik’s counselling are overview and meticulousness focusing on obtaining the most practical solution, and Henrik is an experienced negotiator in both extra-judicial disputes and in court cases.

Janne Glæsel is an experienced attorney and partner at Nyborg & Rørdam. Besides having specialized in intellectual property law for more than 30 years, Janne also has extensive experience in private law. Since 1996, she has served as a licensed administrator at the Probate Court of Copenhagen. Janne advises on estate planning, including administration of estates, wills, and marital agreements.

In addition, Janne advises on general commercial law often in an international context and holds significant experience in trust and foundation law.

Maryla Rytter Wróblewski is an attorney and partner at Nyborg & Rørdam and one of the country’s leading authorities on family and inheritance law. She advises on complex matters including divorce, estate planning, child custody and international family matters.

Maryla has been a member of the international Academy of family lawyers for more than 10 years. Maryla has many years of experience and insight into the issues faced by international high net worth families when planning their relationships with separate property and wills, or in case of divorce. Maryla has been chosen by many family offices as a trusted advisor for the family within her areas of expertise. Maryla always has many ongoing cases that involve countries all over the world.

Within her field of expertise Maryla has conducted several landmark court cases before the Danish Supreme Court, e.g. on child custody, contact and child abduction. In 2022, Maryla also conducted and succeeded in a case before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg about a child’s rights to be adopted by the intended mother after the use of surrogacy abroad.

Maryla is also a trained mediator and a certified arbitrator.
