Firm Overview:

Norrbom Vinding advises on three core areas: labour and employment law, M&A and dispute resolution, supported by a dedicated and highly specialised corporate legal support function.

Norrbom Vinding’s labour and employment law expertise is based on 35+ years of experience at expert level. The core group of lawyers are among those who pioneered and developed labour and employment law as a separate discipline for private practice lawyers in Denmark in the 1980s.

In October 2025, Norrbom Vinding expanded its practice to include M&A and strengthened the focus on dispute resolution. The M&A team, led by Partners Henrik Juul Hansen and Helle Wehl, draws on more than 70 years of combined experience advising listed and unlisted companies, private equity funds, owner-managers and family offices on domestic and cross-border transactions. The team is characterised by legal expertise, commercial understanding as well as sharp and efficient transaction management, ensuring that clients receive sound and rapid responses in fast-paced and complex situations.

Norrbom Vinding’s corporate legal support function provides comprehensive assistance in related areas, including real estate, competition law, marketing law, IPR and financing transactions. This ensures that all relevant aspects of corporate and transactional matters are covered, broadening the firm’s ability to provide integrated advice and dispute resolution services to both existing and new clients.

Main Areas of Practice

Labour and Employment:

Norrbom Vinding advises on all aspects of labour law, including collective bargaining, industrial disputes, transfer of undertakings, restructurings and reorganisations, redundancies, outsourcing, health and safety at work, freedom of association and European works councils. The firm also provides advice on all aspects of employment law, including recruitment, retention and termination processes, incentives and benefits, pensions, business immigration, tax and social security, employment contracts, restrictive covenants, severance agreements, discrimination, equal treatment, staff policies and childbirth-related leave.

M&A:

Norrbom Vinding advises on all legal aspects of corporate transactions and day-to-day operations, including private equity, venture capital, capital markets and W&I insurance.

The firm’s approach combines in-depth transactional experience with a strong understanding of clients’ commercial objectives. The M&A team provides clear, practical and solution-oriented advice, ensuring that clients receive effective support throughout all stages of the transaction.

Dispute Resolution:

Norrbom Vinding is one of the law firms in Denmark that most frequently represents companies and public authorities in a broad range of disputes before the Danish courts and arbitration tribunals, including the civil courts, industrial and ordinary arbitration tribunals, civil service tribunals, dismissal boards and the Labour Court.

The team combines extensive procedural experience with strong sector knowledge, particularly in employment-related and commercial matters. It provides strategic and pragmatic advice throughout all stages of the dispute process, from risk assessment to resolution and enforcement.

Norrbom Vinding’s strengthened corporate capabilities further support its dispute resolution practice, enabling effective handling of matters involving contractual, corporate, regulatory and financial issues.
