Mr. Murphy speaks regularly at American Law Institute - CLE National Eminent Domain and Land Valuation conferences; has served for 20 years as the co-chairman and a speaker at the annual CLE International Southern California Conference on Eminent Domain; has authored articles in the national periodical, the "Appraisal Journal," and a chapter on condemnation for the CEB treatise, "Ground Lease Practice." He also authored a chapter of the ABA text book on expert witnesses, "Litigators on Experts."

Our team members have worked together for over 25 years. Team leaders John C. Murphy and Douglas J. Evertz - - before they founded Murphy & Evertz LLP in 2010 - - headed up two of the largest most accomplished, "big firm" eminent domain and land use groups in the State. Team members have been honored as Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, and served on the Executive Committee of the CLA Real Estate Law Section.
