The firm also assists its clients in the prevention and settlement of corporate difficulties, maritime and land transport, insurance, banking and exchange control. Finally, the firm offers expertise in legal audits.

In terms of litigation, the firm is able to provide quality assistance to its clients in all of the above-mentioned legal matters and in particular in the area of debt collection. The firm assists several banks in the recovery of their debts. It also offers expertise in arbitration.

Monnatt acts in all member states of the OHADA area. During the past year, Monnatt has won several cases before the courts and tribunals. Out of seventy-one (71) of our cases for which decisions have been pronounced at the Court of First Instance of Lomé, we have won sixty-one (61) cases. We won twenty-eight (28) cases out of thirty-five (35) judgments pronounced at the Court of Appeal. The firm also won a case before the Common Arbitration Court on behalf of ACCOR AFRIQUE SAS, ACCOR SA and STIEH. During the year 2021, we handled ninety-four (94) new cases in both advisory and litigation.
