Founder Aaron Messing brings extensive experience in commercial and corporate transactions, venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property protection. Adept at helping companies scale and grow, his practice is dedicated to providing complex, "bet-the-company" advice to boards, executives, and founders. With a background in information privacy and data security, he regularly advises companies on U.S. and international data regulations. Prior to founding the firm, Aaron served as Chief Privacy Officer at Advanced Health Media and Chief Privacy and Security Officer at Avatar Solutions prior to its acquisition.

Managing Shareholder Alessandra Carcaterra Messing focuses on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, with over fifteen years of federal court experience. Alessandra has handled over one hundred IP disputes across the United States and in the International Trade Commission, representing clients from closely held startups to multinational public companies. Prior to joining Messing Law, Alessandra practiced at Am Law 200 firms. Alessandra has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Intellectual Property Litigation since 2017, named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Intellectual Property and Patent Litigation, and honored as one of The National LGBTQ+ Bar's Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40.
