In the corporate/commercial sphere, the firm has successfully managed several major receiverships and liquidations involving hotels, commercial and residential developments. Employment matters form a significant part of the McNamara & Co portfolio, with Anthony McNamara QC guiding the firm’s employment team in his capacity as a firm consultant. Anthony was instrumental in the development of the Labour Act, St. Lucia’s statute law on labour. Other areas of specialisation at McNamara & Co include conveyancing, corporate reorganisation and drafting of joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements and leases.
