- Our team has advised a global leading SaaS company in the hybrid workplace experience solutions on its EUR 2 million seed round led by GapMinder VC and Seedblink crowfunding platform. Lexters provided overall strategic advice on crowdfunding and how this raise of capital could fit in company’s long-term goals.
- We advised a Tokyo-based venture capital firm, on an equity investment of more than USD 2,500,000 in an innovative Romanian start-up, a global B2B SaaS platform building the next gen website creators solution via a collaborative platform for front-end development.
- Lexters advised an end-to-end encrypted messenger company on a highly complex deal that required our team’s dual specialization in US and Romanian jurisdictions, involving various stakeholders on both sides. Sessions has raised a USD 4,500,000 seed round led by Berlin’s Earlybird Venture Capital, London’s Stride VC., and Sofia’s LAUNCHub Ventures. Lexters helped our client on various regulatory matters, starting from corporate to regulatory matters related to payments and data protection policies for its cross-border activities.

- Acted for a franchisee in the food industry sector in two landmark litigations that resulted in final court judgments annulling the underlying franchise agreements, among the first cases decided under Romania’s new franchise law adopted in 2019, on the grounds of insufficient franchisor know-how.
- Providing legal representation for one of Romania’s most well-known brands in the children’s entertainment and indoor playground sector, with trademark value estimated at EUR 4 mil, ensuring the protection of its brand identity. Through targeted legal action, we stopped attempts of unfair client diversion and obtained full redress for the harm caused.
- Advised one of the largest international direct sales companies, producing cosmetics, perfumes, and jewelry, with an annual turnover of €2.77 billion, on the development of a comprehensive franchise agreement. This ensured strong protection of intellectual property and compliance with operational, training, and financial guidelines.
- Provide continuous intellectual property portfolio management services, including competition monitoring, infringement watch services and strategic advice on how to consolidate and monetize IP assets in fast-moving markets, especially for start-ups in AI, biotech, fintech and retail / e-commerce.

- We successfully advised an important blockchain platform developed by a Maltese-based sports company on their token offerings in Romania and advertising crypto related services on TV & media in Romania.
- Lexters issued and reviewed legal opinions on token classifications, SAFTs, and hybrid equity/token financings for multiple CEE-based projects targeting US investors. We prepared successful MICAR White Papers for EU token listings.

The matter involves historical claims, international restitution mechanisms, and cross-border legal cooperation, with proceedings before the New York courts, all aimed at restoring national ownership over an artwork of exceptional historical and cultural significance.
- Successfully represented Romania through the Ministry of Finance in international investment arbitration at ICSID in the case ofFinDoc versus Romania, securing full dismissal of €200M in claims.
- Acting against a major Romanian real estate developer involved in the country’s most prominent real estate fraud. We secured full compensation for our client through litigation, interim measures, and enforcement strategies.
- Representing a sovereign state in a high-stakes contractual dispute exceeding €500 million, involving a leading global pharmaceutical company. Our role is to ensure the defense of public interests and budgetary integrity in very significant legal confrontations between a state and a multinational actor.
- Acting on behalf of a prominent technology company in administrative and judicial proceedings against the imposition of an administrative sanction resulting in potential damages of over €5M.
