Global Presence, Local Perspective:
Even in the era of far-reaching international trade agreements and regional economic and political partnerships, the majority of laws and regulations governing the workplace are still determined by the individual countries where employees work. Employment and pension law is comprehensive, but also complex and at times even contradictory. Alliance contacts with employment law specialists in 80+ countries worldwide help clients navigate the maze of legal regulations and labour law issues affecting businesses across the globe, namely:

■ Assessing workplace compliance challenges
■ Collective redundancies
■ Works council – co-determination and consultation
■ Cross-border trade union actions
■ Transfer of undertakings
■ Data protection
■ Employee codes of conduct, policies, and work rules
■ Pensions and other employee benefits
■ Minimising and defending claims of discrimination
■ Global mobility/immigration
■ Training programs: executives, company, seminars, webinars, workshops

Enriched Client Services:
Client-Focused Knowhow On A Global Scale:
L&E Global’s members are committed to offering clients the most comprehensive legal analysis capabilities and insight from around the world. From interactive microsites, to webinars, seminars and global handbooks, L&E Global offers clients a customised selection of knowhow services to benefit their businesses, specifically designed to help employers stay up-to-date on the trending legal issues that could impact the workplace.

L&E Global has long since recognised that the world is changing, and that innovation is key to every business, including the legal industry. L&E Global, together with its member firms, launched a range of resources, projects and working-groups dedicated to the research and development of legal technology tools aimed at increasing and streamlining efficiency and improving client services.
