Finance & Capital Markets: Lagahvoll’s finance and capital markets team advises their clients in debt and equity capital markets issues and a full range of financing transactions, including lending and acquisition finance, project finance and distressed situations. The firm’s capital markets work is often linked to its M&A work. In 2019 the firm provided Reykjavik Social Housing (Félagsbústaðir), legal advice with regards to its bond issue of 6,400 million ISK (USD 51 million). The issue was the first Social Bond issued in Iceland, issued in line with ICMA Social Bond Principles 2018 and aligned with UN Social Development Goals.
