Karim Adel Law Office

Karim Adel Law Office is an Egyptian law firm established in 1939 by Dr. Saba Habashi, a former judge, Sorbonne Ph.D. holder, and former Minister of Trade and Industry who enacted Egypt’s first trademark law.

Dr. Habashi built the Office on strong international foundations and became the first Egyptian and Middle Eastern lawyer to pass the New York Bar Exam in 1947.

Following the Suez Crisis of 1956, he relocated to the United States while remaining a major partner of the Office.

During the nationalization era starting in 1961, the Office was managed by Mr. Adel Kamel and successfully survived significant political and economic challenges.

In 2000, management passed toMr. Karim Adel Kamel, who modernized the Office after receiving advanced legal education in Egypt and the United States and training in Paris and New York.

In 2015, Dr. Christian Ule joined the Office, strengthening its international practice, and today the Office provides multilingual legal services with over 80 years of experience.
