Notable Recent Experiences

• Successfully representing a Saudi company in an action to annul an arbitration award for an amount exceeding 256 million Saudi Riyals. The case was heard before the Court of Appeal in Makkah, and judgement was rendered annulling the arbitral award.
• Successfully representing a major construction company in an action to set aside a ministerial order to place a ban on future contracts with the client. An adminstrative case was brought in Riyadh's Administrative Court, and final judgment was secured in favour of the client, setting aside the ministerial order.
• Served as a Saudi law experts to provide an expert opinion on the Saudi Government Tenders and Procurement law in an arbitration case between a Saudi contracting company and a state-owned investment company in a dispute of nearly 4 billion Riyals before an arbitration committee in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
• Served as a Saudi law/Sharia experts to provide an expert opinion regarding obligating a party to produce documents in a lawsuit filed between an international airline and a Saudi air carrier, before the Commercial Court in London.
• Drafted -in collaboration with two international law firms- a stock trading policy for a major family company in the Kingdom. The policy included provisions to regulate stock trading, stock evaluation mechanism, non-Saudis' stock inheritance.
• Represented a listed company in the acquisition of a medical company with a total value of nearly 200 million Saudi Riyals. The work included conducting a legal due diligence, drafting of the share purchase agreement and finalising the sale.
• Established a mega private Waqf comprising of eight plots of real estate.
• Drafting the Saudi Unified Healthcare. The project included preparing and presenting a current state analysis of the Saudi health laws, preparing and presenting a benchmarking study with other legal jurisdictions.
