Corrêa Ferreira Advogados (CFA) is a full service law firm located in the capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. For over 20 years, it has been providing legal advice to Middle Market and multinational companies involving several practices of Business Law.

Its purpose is to turn legal advice into a powerful business management tool and, therefore, provides excellent service to clients, standing out both for the relationships built with them and for the technical quality of the legal service provided.

The team, made up of 30 associates and partners, seeks to deeply understand the day-to-day activities of each client and thus develops solutions according to the specifics of each business, studying the risks and benefits of operations, always seeking the best cost-benefit to companies.

The firm has service providers for the Information Technology area, which support in the execution of all tasks that involve technological resources. We have a controllership area that is being extensively developed, using Adwin software.

All our processes are electronic and documents are digitized. In this way, we believe that we also contribute to our duty involving ecological sustainability.

We have well-structured billing policies and semi-annual financial management consulting.

Also, CFA is fully convinced of the importance of debating issues involving diversity and structuring effective policies and initiatives on the subject. In this sense, we have a diversity committee, currently made up of female lawyers who, in addition to educational content, have already recorded a podcast episode together with the diversity council of one of our clients in the mining sector.

Firm founding and managing partner. With LL.B from the Law School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), he has solid experience and expertise in business law. He was corporate legal manager of a mutinational mechanical company, dealing with legal operations covering the entire national territory and countries in South America.

He has worked on the legal structuring of large operations, especially supply, infrastructure projects, real estate contracts and distribution agreements

Helda is head of Labour Litigation and Advisory firm practices. With LL.B from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas) she has 15 years of experience in dealing with large-scale labor claims, as well as for risk analysis and liability assessment, highlighting her extensive experience in Collective Law actions and in Union Negotiations in various business segments.

Lorena Vargas (Corporate Commercial Practice)

Lorena is head of Corporate and M&A firm practice. With a Master Degree in Law and Justice from the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and participation of several courses involving corporate, Biotechnologies, Regulation and Human Rights experiences, she has LL.B from the Law School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG).With extensive experience in M&A's and in corporate governance structuring processes, including the creation of compliance programs, Lorena also prepares, analyzes and negotiates contracts, partnerships and business structuring. She also assists clients in real estate due diligence, assistance and consultancy in real estate projects (including condominiums, subdivisions and development) and regularization of real estate registration.

Perdigão Viana (Tax Practice)

Perdigão Viana is a partner who graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. With extensive experience in Tax Law, he has outstanding performance in the advisory and litigation areas, notably in conducting tax planning operations for health entities and companies in the Metal Mechanics and Infrastructure sector. He is the coordinator of the firm's tax sector, and is also responsible for claims involving intellectual property and copyright.

Breno is responsible for the Business and Civil Litigation practice. His experience involves assisting clients in managing contingencies, strategic litigation of large companies and judicial recovery. With LL.B from the Law School of Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas) in 2009. He has complementary training in Corporate Law and Real Estate Law.
