The firm’s successes include:

• David Weiland and Steven Clark obtained a favorable settlement of over $1 million in an unlawful competition matter in which former employees of the firm’s client took confidential customer information.
• Darryl Horowitt and Robert Ashley obtained a favorable settlement in the defense of trade secrets matter in which an insurance agency sued three former employees and their insurance agency employer.In the action, a temporary restraining order was issued against two of the employees prior to the firm being retained. When the plaintiff sought injunctive relief against the current employer of the former employees, firm attorneys convinced the court to reject the request and reverse its original grant of injunctive relief against the former employees.
• Darryl Horowitt served as state-wide counsel for a national banking corporation in the defense of individual consumer finance claims arising from motor vehicle sales.

The firm’s transactions department represents clients in entity formation, governance and dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, asset and stock sales, real estate development and transactions, estate planning, wills, trusts probate and trust administration. as well as intellectual property including patent prosecution, trademarks, trade dress, copyright, and trade secrets.
