About
Christopher Chuah Law Chambers LLC (CCLC) was established in October 2023 by Managing Director Christopher Chuah and four former colleagues from one of the Big Four law firms in Singapore. Within two years, the firm has more than doubled in size, reflecting steady growth and a positive reception from the market.
CCLC combines the depth and sector expertise of a larger firm with the agility and responsiveness of a boutique practice. The team advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters, with particular focus on construction, infrastructure, and commercial matters. CCLC have acted in complex matters before all levels of the Singapore Courts and are regularly engaged in local and regional arbitrations.
Beyond dispute resolution, CCLC support clients across the full project lifecycle, from the inception of the project to its conclusion. CCLC's cross-border experience includes advisory and claims work in jurisdictions such as Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Maldives.
As of 2025, the firm comprises eight lawyers: Managing Director Christopher Chuah, Executive Director Lee Hwai Bin, Associate Directors Valerie Koh and Deborah Hoe, Senior Associates Bernard Yang and Michael Leong, and Associates Michelle Choy and Terrence Ng. We also have a dedicated legal executive, Joan Ng, who brings over a decade of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specialising in contract administration, as well as project and construction management across a range of commercial and industrial developments in Singapore.

Executive Director Lee Hwai Bin is ranked Band 4 for Construction in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2025 and has been recognised in Best Lawyers for Construction Law since 2022, while Associate Director Valerie Koh was recognised as a Future Star for Construction in Singapore by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2025.
