Every year, Boels Zanders is listed among the top 25 largest law firms in the Netherlands.

On 1 January 2001, the former partnerships Boels van Eijndhoven & Coenegracht and Zanders & Eikendal merged to form the Boels Zanders partnership. This created a law firm with offices (at the time) in Maastricht, Sittard, Roermond and Venlo. The partnership became Boels Zanders NV on 1 January 2006.

Boels Zanders is a member of ADVOC, an alliance of medium-sized law firms based in a large number of countries. The member firms have been selected on the basis of quality and reputation and operate in the area of international corporate law.
