THE FIRM The firm has been established in south west London since 2000 and has a solid reputation for providing excellent and thorough advice in relation to the whole range of criminal offences including serious and complex fraud. The firm has grown steadily and offers a wealth of experience to its clients. The firm has a solid advocacy department and offers expert advice throughout any criminal case and in a range of other areas including fraud, restraint, confiscation and regulatory matters.

PRINCIPAL AREAS OF WORK The firm has evolved from a criminal defence and fraud practice to include advice to clients with regulatory issues or subject to regulatory investigations or matters of restraint, confiscation or civil recovery under POCA 2002. The firm is developing a sports law department dealing with disciplinary or contract advice. The firm has a growing and influential prison law department as well as a highly regarded appellate department taking both privately funded and legally aided appeals which includes advising numerous victims of human trafficking.

CLIENTS The firm represents a wide range of clients including many professionals who find themselves as defendants in fraud related cases or requiring regulatory advice. The firm has a nationwide client base.

INTERNATIONAL Steven Bird and Philippa Southwell are on the List of Counsel and List of assistants to counsel respectively for the International Criminal Court.
