Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property team has a wide experience on national and international prosecution, enforcement, management, and transaction of intellectual property assets including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, domain names, patents, and designs.

Our team has advised one of the biggest companies in the field of manufacture and distribution of hardware products, hand tools, electrical and plumbing accessories in Panamá, with a portfolio of over 250 hundred trademarks in thirty-five countries, involving trademark strategy, filing, maintenance, oppositions and cancellation actions internationally.

Administrative Law

Our team has a wide experience in administrative law, focused on concessions, government bids and establishment of companies under special regime and in special economic zones. We advise our clients in the identification of the applicable regime as well as, all the procedures for the establishment of the company and the recognition of the benefits under each regime. BDO also manage administrative disputes before the government authorities and the Third Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice in Panamá
