To preserve clients’ wealth now and for the next generation, Arendt has assembled a multi-disciplinary Private Clients team that covers all aspects of wealth structuring from a corporate, real estate, civil and estate perspective, as well as a tax law standpoint. The firm’s assistance includes the design and implementation of wealth holding structures, using a comprehensive range of tools such as corporate vehicles, regulated investment funds and life insurance policies. For estate planning, the specialists advise on wills, donations and matrimonial agreements, and for sophisticated investment needs, the firm can help clients create private equity and real estate structures, in Luxembourg or abroad.

The team also has extensive experience in advising clients on fulfilment of their philanthropic goals. For international families, the firm provides advice on private law and inheritance issues in their respective jurisdictions, including any cross-border aspects. In recent years Arendt has been involved in the administration or liquidation of several large international estates. The Private Clients practice assists with the relocation of clients to Luxembourg and advises them on any administrative, regulatory or tax issues that may entail.

The firm brings long experience of using a broad range of estate planning tools, tailoring services to the specific needs and ambitions of each client, and seeking creative solutions suited to each set of circumstances. In addition, the Private Clients litigation team has significant experience in sophisticated domestic and multi-jurisdictional estate disputes.
