Main Areas of Practice:

Immigration:

With almost a decade of experience in immigration law, drawing from both practice-gained knowledge and personal encounters with immigration, our attorneys expertly advise on complex immigration matters, from business immigration to humanitarian. The firm counsels a wide range of clients, including multi-national corporations, Fortune 500 entities, universities, cultural institutions, small businesses, and even not-for-profit institutions, across a wide variety of industries, such as hospitality, education, and e-commerce. Speciality areas include EB-1, NIW, H-1B, L-1, and R-1. In addition to business immigration, A&A created a Pro Bono Program which has allowed the firm to work with countless families applying for humanitarian immigration relief, and to defend individuals in removal proceedings.

Civil Litigation:

A&A has extensive subject matter knowledge on a broad range of law, including landlord and tenant , intellectual property, contracts, labor law, and foreclosure defense. Equipped with attorneys who have practiced in multiple countries, the firm has a vast depth of knowledge in all aspects of administration and civil litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods.

Corporate Law:

A&A serves as outside general counsel for business organizations, non-profits, small businesses, and investors, providing legal representation across the full corporate spectrum, whether it be corporate transactions, compliance, formation and governance, or intellectual property. The firm's approach to corporate law is to provide legal services that are specifically tailored to the demands of the entity, the individual, or the entrepreneur.

Real Estate:

A&A provides counsel to commercial real estate owners and developers, professional service corporations, non-profit and tax exempt entities, municipalities, and the every day homeowner, on a variety of matters involving real estate transactions. The firm has successfully handled a host of real property matters including, but not limited to, PILOT agreements, estate planning and tax issues, financing and refinancing, prenuptial agreements, and investments.

Pro Bono:

In addition to the firm's core practice areas, A&A has a Pro Bono Program that was created with the belief that it is the solemn duty of lawyers, law clerks, and support staff, to use their education and experience to contribute to the public good. The program primarily focuses on humanitarian immigration matters, but has grown to include providing legal policy research for non-profit efforts to reform legislation, creating special needs trusts for children who have been victims of tragedy, and even a business incubator program to provide legal assistance to women of color seeking to build their own legacies.
