    Energy & Infrastructure

    ■ Providing legal advisory services to a special purpose vehicle on the acquisition of its interest in the Meta marginal field awarded under the 2020 marginal fields licensing rounds.

    ■ Acted on behalf of Globeleq Power Solutions Nigeria Limited (GPSNL) with respect to its proposed acquisition of two Captive power plants in Lagos and Ogun States.

    ■ Advised Cummins Power Generation (Nigeria) Limited (CPGNL) in connection with its operations and maintenance of Gas turbines for a successor power generating company for the provision of additional power.

    ■ Advised a leading power distribution company in South West Nigeria on its metering programme with Meter Assets Providers.

    ■ Advised CPGNL on the applicability of the force majeure clauses in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, on its Power Purchase Agreements with customers and renegotiation of same.

    ■ Provided legal advisory services and support to a consortium of oil companies on the acquisition of interests in marginal fields

    ■ The firm is providing legal advisory services to Kunoch Limited on the divestment and purchase of shares of Oxygen Mining Limited.

    ■ The firm was engaged by Unique Grains and Foods Limited to provide legal advisory services in respect of its acquisition of Gossy Warm Spring water.

    ■ Advised CPGNL on its acquisition of majority shareholding in a licensed indigenous IPP in Nigeria.

    ■ The firm advised Guinness Nigeria Plc. on its proposed Distributor Financing Scheme.

    ■ Acting as Lenders Legal Counsel in the N19,000,000,000 (approximately US$50,000,000) contract finance facility to be granted to a telecommunication company for rural telephony.

    ■ Counsel to the Issuer with respect to a N100, 000,000,000 (approximately US$263,158,000)Bonds issuance Programme

    ■ Advised FBN Bank (UK) Limited as lenders on its US$30,000,000 uncommitted revolving stock finance facility.

    ■ The firm advised Union Bank UK Plc on its US$ 7,000,000 loan facility to a Nigerian jet fuel supplier.

    ■ The firm advised MTN Nigeria on the data protection regulatory/compliance framework applicable in respect of the transfer of MTN’s data to a platform located in Netherlands.

    ■ The firm is retained by Mobile Intelligence Limited, a NCC licensed Content Aggregator and one of the major MNO Licensees.

    ■ The firm is retained to provide legal advisory services to Corridor Communications, a company partnering with major network operators to provide proprietary technology for the telecoms industry.
