Claudia Brea-Stevens is a U.S. attorney with seven years of experience with corporate and litigation matters in the Latin American region. Claudia worked at Rivero Mestre, a boutique commercial litigation firm in Coral Gables specializing in complex commercial litigation matters involving Latin America. She was part of the Latin American Division at Ogletree Deakins’ International Practice Group, where she specialized in employment matters for U.S. multinationals doing business in Latin America.

She is now Associate General Counsel at IBT Group handling all legal (and oftentimes business) aspects of the company’s operation in the U.S. and Latin America.


Inés Bahachille
Chief Counsel

Inés Bahachille serves as Chief Counsel for Mondel─ôz International, a global confectionery, food, and beverage holding company operating in approximately 160 countries. Inés is responsible for all the Latin American markets and some business units within the US market and Global function. She oversees a team of around 40 people across different countries, and her work focuses on regulatory matters, corporate governance, compliance, trademarks, patents, global legal services, business integrity and corporate security.

Previous to this role, Inés was General Counsel for Latin America and Miami Exports at Ingram Micro, the world’s largest IT wholesaler and service provider, from March 2017 to June 2019. From 2008 to 2017, Inés worked for Diageo, the world’s largest spirits company, where she served as VP and General Counsel for Latin America and USA Free Trade Zones.

With over 10 years of experience in (re)Insurance, Juan Pablo works for Swiss Re as Legal Counsel. Prior to joining Swiss Re, he worked as an attorney for Kennedys in Madrid and Miami. Juan Pablo is qualified in Spain, holds degrees in History and Education, Economics & Finance and has an MSc from the London School of Economics. Having worked in the UK, Spain and Chile, he is currently based in Miami and is responsible for the Andean Region and the Caribbean.
