Chambers Seminar: Alternative Legal Services
This seminar will address the evolution of legal services and new market trends with a focus on Italy. It will consider the new models that are being implemented in the field to address clients’ needs. The panel will engage in a discussion on the future of legal services and debate new perspectives and alternatives that are available in the legal market. In house counsel will be able to see how these changes can be implemented to assist their businesses by lowering their external legal costs, whilst also increasing the delivery speed of legal services.

Danieli Automation SpA
Gianluca Buoro is the General Counsel of Danieli Automation SpA managing all of the Buttrio-based company's legal and compliance affairs.
Previously he held the role of Legal Affairs Manager at Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche SpA. His responsibilities included litigation management (international and domestic arbitrations), drafting legal opinions, negotiation of international sales contracts, legal assistance to the purchasing department, including participation in negotiation of main purchase agreements and IP related agreements, as well as legal assistance in M&A issues.
Alessandro Fosco Fagotto
Fosco is a partner in Dentons' Milan office and the Head of the Italian Banking and Finance practice.
He has extensive and outstanding experience advising lenders—his clients include almost all of the most representative Italian banks and international banks providing financial support in Italy—financial sponsors (private equity and private debt funds), investors and others financial institutions and borrowers, in connection with a very broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition and leveraged finance, structured finance, real estate finance, general corporate lending and refinancing.
Head of Group Litigation
Lazzarini is a New-York qualified attorney who joined UniCredit in February 2016 as Head of Group Litigation, reporting directly to the Group’s General Counsel, after an extensive experience as Counsel in the New York office of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP. She is responsible for civil and criminal matters in the various jurisdictions in which the Group operates. A graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, New York, she went on to obtain her Juris Doctor also from Columbia University School of Law. As Counsel in Skadden’s International Litigation and Arbitration department, she represented clients in a variety of disputes involving cross-border and international law issues, including U.S. litigation and arbitration before international bodies such as the International Chamber of Commerce, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes and tribunals constituted under the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission of International Trade Law. This enabled her to specialize in international and cross-border legal aspects, which are particularly relevant in her present role.
Diego Manzetti is the General Counsel of AIG Europe. Based at the headquarter of the company in Luxembourg, Diego is responsible for the legal and regulatory affairs of the European region, that includes 19 jurisdictions. He is also member of the European executive leadership team, and secretary to the board of directors of the company. In his previous position, Diego was working at AIG in Italy, with also responsibility for the legal department in South Europe and MENA region. Before joining AIG Diego worked in private practice, mainly advising insurance companies.
Italy Managing Partner
Federico Sutti is Italy Managing Partner of Dentons.
Federico has extensive experience in M&A transactions, particularly in the Real Estate sector, advising Italian and international clients on the acquisition of assets and portfolios, as well as relevant, complex developments. These include, in particular, some of the most prominent development transactions in the residential/office/retail as well as in the logistic sectors. In addition, he has carried out various brownfield transactions advising international investors operating in the hotel and/or office sectors. Moreover, Federico advised the lenders in the context of the most relevant development projects in Italy.
Head of Legal Wholesale
Gianni Venditti is a Lawyer who was born in Rome and is the Head of Legal Wholesale sector in TIM, managing all legal matters related to their wholesale and network business (legal opinions, litigations, contracts, etc). Previously, he held the role of Head of Litigation at TIM Group. His responsibilities included national and international litigation management (criminal, administrative, civil and arbitrations).
