Celebrating International Women’s Day at Chambers
The month of March is a recognition of both Women’s History and Endometriosis Awareness, as well as International Women’s Day (IWD) on the 8th of March. In this article, we will explore this year’s IWD theme of #AccelerateAction and how we will be celebrating here at Chambers.
International Women’s Day 2025: #AccelerateAction –
This year’s International Women’s Day focuses on the need to #AccelerateAction. As IWD notes, the theme ‘calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres’. To recognise, celebrate and champion this theme, the Gender strand of INSPIRE and DEI team are hosting two events in the month of March.
International Women’s Day panel event –
On the 11th of March we will be hosting an internal panel event to celebrate women in leadership at Chambers. As well as recognising leading women at Chambers and their career journeys, we will also be discussing some of the issues that women face in the workplace such as imposter syndrome and how to navigate power structures, as well as the importance of gender allyship.
We will be joined by;
Faiza Jibril
Commercial Director - USA
Jennine Quiles
Commercial Manager - USA
Lisa Hart Shepherd
Chief Product and Innovation Officer
Melanie Hill
Chief Marketing Officer
Mónica Tantaleán
Latin America Research Director
At the event, we will also be launching Chambers very first gender affinity network, named Chambers Women in Focus. The network will provide a safe space to discuss the issues that affect those who identify as women in the workplace and professional development opportunities through mentoring, coaching and skill-building.
Digital Teatime with the Menstrual Health Project –

In recognition of Endometriosis Awareness Month and IWD’s theme of #AccelerateAction, we are hosting a Digital Teatime in collaboration with the Menstrual Health Project charity. Founded by Anna Cooper and Gabriella Pearson, both sufferers of endometriosis and other menstrual health-related conditions, they aim to provide practical support through educational tools and resources, seminars and collaboration with employers and schools to break stigmas and biases around the topic of menstrual health.
The session will focus on how to advocate for yourself and how to speak to professionals in a healthcare setting, as well as how employers can support employees suffering from menstrual health conditions. This is a timely event alongside the launch of our very own menstrual health policy.
We will be fundraising to support the charity in their vital work throughout the month of March and you can also donate towards our fundraising efforts here; . To find out more about the Menstrual Health Project, please visit their website here.
Chambers and Partners is dedicated to providing an inclusive workplace environment for those who identify as women, during the month of March and beyond.
