Yoon & Yang’s Corporate Restructuring team, which is subordinated under its Corporate Advisory Practice Group has great specialty and experience, and is led by Sang-Goo Han, a well-renowned Korean lawyer in the insolvency and corporate restructuring area. Sang-Goo Han is still active in practicing his own cases related insolvency and restructuring.

In addition, the firm has recently hired Jongsang Lee from LG Electronics. As the former vice president at LG Electronics, Jongsang Lee played a pivotal role in the establishment of a holding company of LG Electronics. Based on this and other relative experiences, Jongsang Lee is now the head of Institute for Corporate Governance at Yoon & Yang.

The team is particularly known for its well-balanced bench between seasoned attorneys and junior partners. The practice group is headed by Sang-Goo Han with 20 years of experience in corporation rehabilitation and restructuring areas. In addition, Sang-Goo Han is backed up by a seasoned restructuring & insolvency attorney, Jungseok Ryu, who mainly focuses on corporate organization, bankruptcy procedure and M&A of turnaround companies and company workout. Key figure of the group’s junior partner level is Sangman Kim and Joon Oh Jo.
