Wolf Theiss

About

Provided by Wolf Theiss

Our litigation team advises clients on complex commercial disputes across multiple sectors. We manage every stage of a dispute: from pre-trial negotiations and documentation to trial preparation, motions for injunctions, hearings, appeals and enforcement proceedings. Beyond commercial litigation, we offer full support in IP related disputes, including patent and trademark litigation.

Backed by extensive experience in complex post-M&A and shareholder disputes, our team is equally adept at handling environmental litigation and unfair competition claims, delivering strategic and effective outcomes for our clients.

The arbitration practice is just as robust. We advise and appear in proceedings under a wide range of institutional and ad hoc rules, including ICC, LCIA, SCC, VIAC, UNCITRAL and leading Polish institutions, such as the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration. Active both as counsel and as arbitrators, our lawyers handle complex, high-value disputes across seats and industries, from case strategy and written advocacy through hearings, post-award enforcement and set-aside proceedings.

We represent clients with strength and clarity before common and administrative courts in Poland, Polish and international arbitration tribunals, European courts and, uniquely among Polish firms, before courts in Germany, leveraging our language skills, procedural know-how and experience with cross-border legal strategies.
