Private Equity

The team advises a wide range of key local and international clients, across diverse sectors, on both local and cross-border private equity and other alternative assets transactions. The team has particular experience with transactions involving the food sector, the industrial manufacturing sector and distressed businesses. The department is consistently involved in significant and complex transactions for institutional investors, including private equity and other alternative assets funds. Highlights over the past year include providing continued advice to Centrum Rozliczeń Elektronicznych Polskie ePłatności S.A. (a portfolio entity of Innova Capital) and advising Avallon and Euro Choice IV funds in their sale of a majority stake in Meyra Group S.A. to the H.I.G. Europe fund, as well as working on transactions involving such global players as CVC or GIG.

WKB’s private equity team comprises several partners with strong international experience, particularly Corporate/M&A department co-head Jakub Jędrzejak, who has developed strong working relationships with global law firms that do not have Polish offices and former Freehills partner Ben Davey.
