Wiersholm is a local law firm with an international orientation. Our network, our lawyers’ international experience and our cooperation with actors in other countries give us an international focus that benefits our clients.

Our international strategy is driven by the value that complex transactions require top tier legal expertise rooted in a deep knowledge of local practice, customs and culture. From our office in Oslo, we assist our clients wherever they are in the world. In this regard, we often use our extensive international network of law firms and partners, which covers the whole world and is the result of systematic work with long-term relationships. The network consists exclusively of top tier companies, and is administered and followed up regularly by our international committee.

Through our network, we can offer local advice in more than 100 different jurisdictions. The international partners are either organized through networks such as Club de Abogados, or the respective networks of a number of our top tier contacts, such as Freshfields, Linklaters and Allen & Overy. In the jurisdictions where we do not have a current partner, we will quickly be able to find a suitable partner through our international relations.

We can coordinate and manage the work conducted by our partners as subcontractors. We cooperate seamlessly across borders and are happy to take on the role as project manager to offer our clients a clear and uniform interface.
