We’re lucky to have a large team of expert construction and engineering lawyers, all based in Leeds, and we’ve built a reputation for our work based on offering our clients technical yet practical advice. We always take into account the commercial realities our clients are facing.

Our work covers the whole spectrum of the construction industry, from traditional developments acting for developers, contractors, specialist subcontractors and consultants, through to complex projects in areas such as energy. We are experts in a number of growth and emerging sectors – for example, student accommodation or PRS – and we represent our clients in large scale litigation and arbitration and adjudication (including enforcement).

This experience means we can offer our clients a detailed and practical understanding of how contracts are negotiated and operated and we focus on the key issues so that our clients can achieve their objectives as efficiently as possible. This cradle to grave approach to our work means you’ll benefit from the same legal team providing advice from start to finish on any project.

We have a specialist team focusing on building warranty claims which includes large or group litigations and cladding claims and we advise national and international clients in all sectors.  Our clients include listed companies, local authorities and educational institutions, banks, developers, contractors, specialist sub-contractors and consultants.
