Vision & Associates is a Vietnam-based full-service professional firm offering a broad range of services in the following major areas: Legal Practice & Intellectual Property Practice. We are now staffed with 125 professionals operating in two offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Our Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group deals with all aspects of IP laws to protect and enforce our clients’ IP assets in Vietnam. Our services include research and advice on IP laws; filing and prosecution of applications for trademarks, designs, patents, copyrights and internet domain names; availability searches, assignments and renewals; initiating procedures for oppositions and cancellations; negotiation and drafting of contracts on licensing, technology transfer, franchising and distribution; and taking enforcement and anti-counterfeit action.

Over the past twelve months, we have assisted our clients in numerous cases across various areas of intellectual property in Vietnam and other countries. Specifically:

Trademark: Our comprehensive services include trademark searches, substantive advice on the specification of goods and services before filing, responses to office actions, oppositions, appeals, and obtaining registration certificates.
Patent: Vision & Associates has been ranked Tier 1 in the field of patent prosecution in Vietnam. In the last 12 months, our annual patent filings account for approx. 15% of the total patent filings at the IP Office of Vietnam.
