We specialise in corporate real estate financing – in particular land acquisition financing and land development financing – where the same department undertakes both the financing and conveyancing transactions for the client, offering a convenient one-stop service for developers and banks.
We have extensive experience acting for both lenders and borrowers. Our clients on the lender side include major Singapore-based banks such as UOB, OCBC and DBS; on the borrower side, we count among our clients developer conglomerates such as Oxley and Singhaiyi.
We also act as Singapore counsel to various multinational corporations, such as INEOS and INEOS Styrolution, in their secured notes financing for their general working capital purposes. In addition, we have also acted for various lending institutions in their financing of Grade A office buildings in the Singapore central business district.
In banking and finance, we act for financial institutions and corporates in high value financing transaction. This encompasses cross border secured and syndicated lending, acquisition financing as well as debt restructuring, purchase of loans and refinancing. We are also involved in the PEs and VCs space and often advise exciting start-ups, SMEs, private and pension funds etc in their angel investments. In debt capital markets, we advise our clients on issue of bonds and other debt instruments (including convertible and exchangeable notes and programmes).
