Taylor Rose MW is a top 60 independent law firm with over 1,500 experts operating from over 30 offices nationwide. Taylor Rose TTKW and McMillan Williams Solicitors Ltd. Merged in May 2020. Within the firm, the specialist Extradition Department was started in March 2015.

Since our inception, the Extradition Department has grown to include 12 solicitors and 5 support staff. We operate the department across 3 offices – Carter Lane, Westminster, and Brixton. We now boast one of the largest extradition departments in the UK.

The majority of our solicitors have significant expertise from their previous practices and their recruitment was driven with a view to building the Department. All Solicitors are highly regarded amongst extradition practitioners and District Judges.

The Advocates within the team are formidable, including occasions where leading Junior Counsel are instructed against them by the Prosecution in the Magistrates Court. Most of our advocates have higher rights of audience and duty solicitor status.

We have had multitude of successful and reported cases in extradition law. Some of those cases have set legal precedents and therefore regarded as landmark judgements. This demonstrates the ability of the team to identify strong issues and achieve success for our clients.

The department is known for winning complex and difficult cases, as well as for taking on and robustly defending all extradition matters, regardless of the size and status of the case.
