Stephenson Harwood's IP group has extensive experience of acting as the gateway to Europe and Asia for both PRC clients and PRC law firms.

Our global IP team has broad experience in contentious and non-contentious matters, and is capable of providing advice on the protection, exploitation and enforcement of IP rights around the world amongst others. We have a diverse team of experienced lawyers who are fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean as well as English.

We are experienced in providing a one stop shop for IP advice in Europe and Asia. With our extensive experience in coordinating and providing clients efficient seamless cross-border services with one point of contact, our clients can easily take advice and give instructions from within the PRC.

Being part of China, whilst sharing a common law heritage with the UK and the US as well as connecting with European system via our headquarters in London, our Hong Kong Office is in a unique position to 'translate' the requirements of the various systems and effectively communicate these requirements to our Chinese clients.
