Schoenherr offers a unique combination of the know-how of a boutique insolvency firm, and the comprehensive range of legal services of an international law firm. The firm’s insolvency and restructuring team covers all areas of insolvency law.

It has an outstanding record in advising both lenders and distressed borrowers on pre-insolvency reorganisation and re-financing, as well as extensive experience in representing creditors in insolvency proceedings and insolvency related litigation.

Schoenherr increasingly acts for Austrian banks in distress, advising in particular on proceedings under the European Union's Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive.
