Our TMT practice area has lawyers with deep business and regulatory experience in the Telecom and IT sectors; with extensive background for drafting, implementing and negotiating agreements related to the telecommunications and technology services; with an interdisciplinary vision for implementing specific business plans of our telecom and IT client’s agreements; and with full understanding of the opportunities that the sectors of the TMT practice area represent. 

We have an integral understanding of convergent services, infrastructure and technology needs; a deep understanding of resolutions issued by the Federal Institute of Telecommunications;     specialized knowledge in applicable rules to develop different kinds of business models through telecommunications networks, Internet and other platforms; and vast experience in providing advice on content, advertising and specific regulatory compliance. Our services include representation before the regulators for obtaining the required concessions, permits and authorizations.  

Our TMT practice area also handles Data Protection and Privacy matters. As the enforcement of the Mexican Data Protection law has increased, we receive many queries regarding the application of the Data Protection provisions and the remedies available for our clients. We have been involved in the development of many Data Protection compliance programs for our clients, making Data Protection an important role within their internal compliance structure.
