Our team’s experience, and its extensive and accurate insight on all aspects of competition law allow us to provide advice to clients in a wide array of industries; from obtaining clearance from the Federal Economic Competition Commission or the Federal Institute of Telecommunications in complex M&A transactions, to defending them before Mexican courts. 

We successfully represent clients in major antitrust investigations, including both cartel investigations and investigations on alleged relative monopolistic practices (or “rule of reason” investigations); as well as in litigation cases before the Antitrust Authorities, Mexican courts and during follow-on damages cases. 

Our team has great experience in using and managing eDiscovery tools and in carrying out internal investigations. Additionally, we help our clients build up antitrust compliance and training programs tailored to address their needs and the specific risks of the industries they operate. 

Based on our firm’s experience as a full service law firm, our antitrust practice group has also established a strong practice in public bidding processes, as well as counseling clients on potential risks that may arise from their business activities, reviewing their commercial practices, and advising them during complex negotiations, in order to minimize their exposure to lengthy and costly investigations, potentially heavy fines, and even possible criminal sanctions.
